No offense, but Wes sends Gunn to be the 'relative at the hospital' of the injured cop. He, um, doesn't look all that... related. Do I have to say it? (She's white.)

Offspring

While I admit Sahjahn's cigarette may be in the same temporal displacement phase as he is, that still doesn't explain how he could light it in the fire.

Quickening

Does anyone else think it took Sarah an awfully short amount of time to 'turn'? Holtz comes home and finds her (apparently) alive. This is way too soon.

Okay, another one with dates (no groaning). The scene with the death of Holtz's family takes place in 1764. The next time we flash back, the superimposed text reads: "Nine years later". That makes it 1773. Yet elsewhere it is said (by Sahjahn, who ought to know) that 227 years have passed since they made their pact (and Holtz had to accept and be frozen that very hour). There's no way this can add up to place this episode in the latter part of 2001, yet this is where it must occur.
One of the writers' numbers is off. Pick one.
